Just in Time for Spring – Chanel Le Vernis Peche Nacree

Chanel Le Vernis Peche Nacree $25

When it comes to nail polish I’ve always been an O.P.I kind of girl, rarely cheating on my favorite brand, but when my friend gave me a Chanel nail polish to try… I was hooked.  Their colors are absolutely amazing although much more expensive than O.P.I… just think of it as luxury for your nails.  My latest splurge was on Chanel’s Spring 2011 nail polish collection called Pêche Nacrée.  I am having some issues with my camera so I don’t have any photos of what it looks like on my nails, but the color in the photo is pretty accurate.  It’s a soft peachy pink color with a hint of gold shimmer… perfect for spring.  If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Peachy Keen Creme (07) is a close comparison but without the gold shimmer but of course at a fraction of the price.  Which one will you choose?

About Pink Layers

Welcome to Pink Layers. I'm very excited to share with you guys my thoughts and ideas on beauty and fashion. My love affair with makeup, clothes and accessories started at a very young age and has only grown with time; unfortunately my bank account has shrunk because of it. Hopefully my blog will help and guide you into making wise purchasing decisions. After all, as Coco Chanel once said, "A girl should be two things... classy and fabulous."
