Scent of a Woman!

Wake Up & Smell the Perfume

Are you one of those women who wear the same perfume all year round?  I certainly am not.  I love perfume and I rarely leave the house without it… but my preference changes from day to day.  What perfume I wear really depends on my mood.  I usually stick to scents that either contain amber and musk and are a bit stronger (not overpowering) or are a bit powdery.  I try and steer clear from scents that are fruity or remind me of my favorite dessert.  Over the years I have tried countless of bottles of perfume but my collection above has made the cut and I think I will keep repurchasing over the years.  My absolute favorite is Sisley’s Eau du Soir, which I will continue to repurchase as long as I live (or until it’s discontinued).  Perfume is a very personal choice and it’s not only about a certain smell, but how it makes you feel and the memories each scent brings to mind.  What is the one scent you cannot live without?

Eau du Soir Sisley $135.98 ; Bottega Veneta Eau de Parfum $135; Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum Spray $100;  Prada Infusion d’Iris $82; Juicy Couture $90; Ralph Lauren Romance $65; Cartier Baiser Vole $100

About Pink Layers

Welcome to Pink Layers. I'm very excited to share with you guys my thoughts and ideas on beauty and fashion. My love affair with makeup, clothes and accessories started at a very young age and has only grown with time; unfortunately my bank account has shrunk because of it. Hopefully my blog will help and guide you into making wise purchasing decisions. After all, as Coco Chanel once said, "A girl should be two things... classy and fabulous."
