New Brand Alert: Highlight Cosmetics

Hightlight Cosmetics

When Highlight Cosmetics contacted me to try their new matte lipsticks I was very intrigued. Not because the lipsticks are matte, but because their lipsticks are made with natural ingredients such as turmeric, sea kelp, green tea, white tea, vitamin C and E. Sounds amazing right? They are!

I chose three shades to try, Desert Mirage, Rare Nebbiolo and Sandstone Cashmere. Each shade is highly pigmented and very moisturizing on the lips. When applied, the formula feels very soft and velvety. I was extremely impressed that I only needed one coat to get a full, even color… and I didn’t have to re-apply all day. The formula stayed on my lips all day without smearing or budging. Truly impressive!

There are 10 shades to choose from, including 5 metallic shades which are stunning. Each lipstick retails for $25 via the Highlight Cosmetics website . If you’re in the market for a new liquid lipstick, I highly recommend you give these lippies a try and experience for yourself how natural ingredients can transform the look and feel of your lips.

About Pink Layers

Welcome to Pink Layers. I'm very excited to share with you guys my thoughts and ideas on beauty and fashion. My love affair with makeup, clothes and accessories started at a very young age and has only grown with time; unfortunately my bank account has shrunk because of it. Hopefully my blog will help and guide you into making wise purchasing decisions. After all, as Coco Chanel once said, "A girl should be two things... classy and fabulous."
